Transitioning Youth Committee
The Transitioning Youth Committee focuses on distributing information and resources designed to help youth, and their families, who are in transition from middle/secondary education, to acquire the knowledge and skills they need to maximize their independence and self-sufficiency in their communities.
Committee’s Goal:
Improve the outcomes of youth who are in transition from middle/secondary education to postsecondary education and employment by distributing information related to adult services and eligibility after a student exits school. Information is shared through the Provider Council’s website, bi-annual Transitioning Youth Fairs, and a webinar series.
