Hi - My name is Jon Tomar. I am the web master who developed the site along with Melvin Bogard the web designer and April Gower-Getz the CEO and over all director of the site. The site was developed in WIX, a website development environment which I have used before and makes building websites a lot easier. It also has a lot of features that can be added to the site so it is powerful when needed.
I have been working in IT for several years - I enjoy creating programs and sebsites and helping people get the most from their IT. Over the years, I have helped hundreds of clients use their IT resources efficiently and effectively. In the course of my career, I have worked with a number of non-profits both large and small. I like working with non-profits because I feel like I am contributing to the improvement of people's lives in the community. Doing good while doing business.
I don't want to put down the private sector, because that's importnat too and I have worked for for-profit clients as well. It's just more fun working for non-profits - although not as lucrative 🤣- but you already know that.
