In line with the success of our previous Awards Program, the Prince George’s Provider Council is once again asking our members to nominate individuals supported by their agencies for this year's event.

We are looking for individuals who can bring enthusiasm as speakers for the 12th Annual Employment Awards Breakfast scheduled for Thursday, October 22, 2026, from 9:00-Noon at Martin’s Crosswinds, 7400 Greenway Center Drive, Greenbelt, Maryland 20770.

Nominations must be submitted by September 4th , 2026. Please note that this event will be live.

​The criteria used to choose 2-3 speakers include:

1)    Someone comfortable speaking in front of a crowd.

2)    A person who can discuss his/her pathway or pathways to success including hopes and dreams. (Need not to have achieved their goal/vision but can speak about their progress on this path.)

3)    A person who has a message to share that can be motivational to others.

4)    Someone who might have faced some obstacles along his/her way and how they dealt with them as they continued traveling toward their goal or vision.

The speakers will be selected based on their bio, which we ask them to provide, considering the criteria listed above—as well as anything else that is important to her/him.

It is expected that someone at the provider agency nominating the individual will be of assistance in preparing their live presentation.
