Your Voice Matters: Meet County Council Candidates on Disability Issues

The Prince George’s Provider Council is excited to announce a new opportunity for meaningful dialogue and community engagement. In partnership with the Prince George’s County Commission for Individuals with Disabilities, The Arc Prince George’s County, and Third Sight,  we will host an upcoming County Council Candidates Meet & Greet event specifically focused on disability issues.

This Meet & Greet will bring together County Council candidates, service providers, county residents with disabilities, families, and advocates for an evening of connection and conversation. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet candidates, ask questions, and engage directly on issues that matter the most to our community, issues impacting individuals with disabilities.

This event reflects our shared commitment to ensure that candidates hear directly from not only the disability community but also those who support them daily and understand how policy decisions affect daily life. It also provides a platform for candidates to share their vision for advancing equity and inclusion across the county.
