County Council Candidate Meet & Greet Event: Meet the Candidates
The Prince George’s County Provider Council, The Arc of Prince George’s County, and the Prince George’s County Commission for Individuals with Disabilities are proud to host a Disability Meet & Greet for candidates running for Prince George’s County Council. This event gives people with disabilities, family members, caregivers, advocates, and service providers an opportunity to meet with candidates and discuss issues that affect everyday life, including accessibility, housing, transportation, education, employment, and community inclusion.
As part of participating in the Meet & Greet, candidates are asked to complete a questionnaire developed from questions and concerns shared by the disability community. The questionnaire gives voters an opportunity to learn where candidates stand on disability-related issues and how they plan to support equity, accessibility, and inclusion if elected.
